Stewardship Services is responsible for providing resources and technical guidance to area landowners and land managers to assist them in conservation and management goals.
We accomplish this by:
Providing land management guidance and opportunities to landowner partners when evaluating and planning habitat restoration or enhancement activities.
Working with conservation partners to determine opportunities for collaboration on grassland and riparian restoration/enhancement projects.
Providing educational opportunities/training to Trans-Pecos landowners and conservation partners through workshops, field days, and seminars.
Providing training to landowners and mineral owners so that they have the knowledge and skills needed to manage their mineral and renewable assets.
Coordinate directly with BRI Habitat Research and Management/West Texas Native Seeds (WTNS) faculty and staff to effectively leverage available resources for conservation efforts on private lands.
