Join SRSU staff on guided hikes on Hancock Hill.
Learn about the history of Alpine and Sul Ross and the natural history of Hancock Hill, while taking in stunning views. This time, we’ll explore the birdlife of Hancock Hill and discuss the habitat that our diverse avian community depends on.
More Information about Guided Hikes:
- This 1.8-mile hike is moderately strenuous and will last 2 hours.
PLEASE BE CONFIDENT YOU CAN KEEP A BRISK PACE ON ROUGH, STEEP TERRAIN BEFORE SIGNING UP. - Hikes are contingent on weather and may not be rescheduled.
- This hike will not visit the Sul Ross Desk.
