Borderlands Research Institute Students Awarded $46,500 in Scholarships

Seven graduate students at the Borderlands Research Institute (BRI) at Sul Ross State University have been selected to receive $46,500 in scholarships from seven different sources, including the first ever scholarship awarded from the Wes and Victoria Bannister Scholarship and the Wayne and JoAnn Moore Endowed Scholarship.

Trans-Pecos Wildlife Conference Returns in 2022

For the first time since 2016, the Trans-Pecos Wildlife Conference will be held at Sul Ross State University from August 4–5 of this year. The event will be co-hosted by the Borderlands Research Institute, Texas Wildlife Association, and Texas Parks and Wildlife Department.
