DR. STACEY S. DEWALD
Stacey’s passion for agriculture and natural resources began during her childhood in eastern Washington. Growing up on a farm, she learned about hard work and dedication to finding a balance between using the land and respecting the natural resources.
During her graduate education at Texas A&M University she developed valuable human dimension research skills, focusing on agriculture and natural resources. With these skills she strives to understand the relationship humans have with the environment and the impacts they have on each other. At the Borderlands Research Institute she uses her expertise to help the researcher team, students, and partners share their efforts with the public through education and outreach.
