Destiny coordinates outreach and events for the Respect Big Bend Coalition, which provides helpful information to stakeholders about conservation and responsible energy development in the Big Bend region. She coordinates seminars and workshops, the Respect Big Bend booth at community events, and presents to civic groups and other community organizations.

Prior to her position with BRI, Destiny earned her MS from Texas A&M University in Water Management & Hydrological Science in 2020. While living in College Station, she worked for the Texas Water Resources Institute as a Graduate Research Assistant. Destiny received her BS in Environmental Science with a minor in Forestry from Stephen F. Austin State University in 2015. After completing her BS degree, she worked for an environmental consultant in Nacogdoches, performing wetland delineations and GIS mapping services. Outside of work, you can find her reading a book or enjoying the fresh air of Big Bend.
